Her aim is to create a warm and welcoming environment where clients feel empowered within their own bodies, helping them acknowledge their individual capabilities and limitations, while always encouraging them to tap into their potential and notice how it translates to their Pilates practice.Liv's teaching style centres on a grounded and foundational approach, sprinkled with variety and challenge. Natalie’s love for pilates really grew when she joined the Fleur community as a client in 2022. She loved the way pilates made her feel so confident in her body - So strong! So capable! Being a part of the beautiful Fleur community also made her feel so supported. This had a huge impact on her life and as a result, pilates became an almost daily ritual for her, whether it be on the reformer or on the mat. As time went on, Natalie noticed she was coming to classes and asking questions, noticing cues and interactions, and wanting to know more and more. So, in September 2023, Natalie’s passion and curiosity lead her to invest in Barre Body’s reformer and mat pilates instructor courses to further her own practice. Once word got out around the studio, this interest developed further as she realised how rewarding it would be to actually teach Pilates at Fleur! Natalie creates her classes to be supportive and to build client’s confidence, providing an environment that reminds them just how strong, capable and worthy they are. Whether it’s a gentle Flow class or a strong HIIT or Sculpt class, she hopes to welcome you to an hour of pilates that’s main focus is making you feel good!

As our youngest and first male instructor, Hayden’s excited to make an impact! Pilates found Hayden when he needed it most. He’d dedicated a great deal to his secondary education and felt lost when the biggest routine of his life disappeared. Hayden eventually found his new routine in Reformer Pilates (through long ignored advice from his chiropractor) which helped him find himself again. Full of pride and inspired by his new vocation, he graduated as a Mat and Reformer instructor from Breathe Education in 2024 and is ready to give people the gift of movement - the best gift he ever received! The key concept Hayden wishes to promote with his teaching is to “be brave and be kind.” He believes that Pilates can be enhanced by being compassionate to one’s self and non-judgemental of one’s body… but will always endorse a client’s choice to challenge themselves! He’s found that some men have anxieties about beginning Pilates - not because it’s emasculating, but because they don’t want to appear intrusive or invasive when entering a typically feminine space. Hayden’s hope is that he can demolish this stigma and welcome more “tall blokes” like him into our studio all the while encouraging his clients to move fearlessly and joyfully. Hayden has a background in the performing arts and an insatiable desire to learn. So, when you don’t see him, he’s probably playing Dungeons and Dragons or strategy oriented video games… a fact he is not ashamed of!

With over 25 years of experience in Pilates, Dance and Musical Theatre, Faye is astute in understanding the athletic body. As mother of 2 and business owner; she is also equipped to understand the demands of modern life on the body, the psyche and the soul.
Faye started practising Pilates in South Africa as a teen, when Pilates was a mythical technique exclusive to dancers. Pilates kept her injury free as a touring performing artist around the world for over a decade. It also always gave her a sense of “home” during her travels; from Hong Kong to Sweden and many cities in between. For this reason Faye believes Pilates is the gold standard for bodily maintenance.
It is the “automatic update” for the body and mind.
Faye is especially passionate about Pilates for Pregnancy, Postpartum and Menopause as well as myofascial movement techniques during transitional phases of a woman’s life. She specialises in matwork and reformer which is distinguished by her Advanced Diploma of Myofascial Slings Training.
Pelvic floor and diastasis-recti rehab are key features of her interest and training. Her boutique Pilates studio in Sydney specialised in women’s health and wellbeing. In the 7 years she occupied her studio; she developed a unique and intuitive understanding of movement patterning, injury prevention and dynamic flow.
She is excited to bring her unique skill set to the beautiful people of Newcastle in 2024.
Endeavouring to always be on the front foot of movement science and health research, Faye has always got her nose in whitepapers, textbooks or detective novels. As a student, Faye is currently completing her Bachelor's Degree in Health Psychology. With a keen interest in what creates health and wellbeing and how we maintain it, Faye believes movement holds the key to transform simply living - to thriving.
Faye wants you to leave the studio feeling fluffy, renewed, revitalised, and with great admiration and love for your body—even on lazy days!
